Best Book on Forgiveness
This is the best book I've read on forgiveness.The Sandfords did an excellent job in teaching how forgiveness is a lifestyle.After reading the book I learned how everyday occurrences, even seemingly small incidences, can create bitterness and resentment if not dealt with properly.The book provides practical and spiritual steps on how to deal with unforgiveness - always pointing us to the cross because that's the only way we can truly accomplish forgiveness. I would recommend this book to anyone whose dealing with hurt, pain, rejection, betrayal or anyone serving others dealing with such issues.

Best book EVER on forgiveness
This has to be the best book EVER on forgiveness. I have suffered four traumas in four years, and been left reeling as a result. The most cruel things that ever happen to us in life, are caused by fellow human beings, and most often those closest to us....they are the ones who know best how to hurt us the most and that is their intent. So many people told me "just forgive" or "you HAVE to forgive". How do you forgive when the worst possible thing has been done to you and the pain and hurt are so deep and intense? No one could tell me how. This book did! It sure isn't easy. I am still working through the process, but with Elijah House and this book, inner healing is happening. It is true, we MUST forgive, but how? This book will not only tell you how, but how vital it is to your very life and health. It is also vital to your eternal life. If you do not forgive others, God will not forgive you. What was done to Him, for you, was far worse than anything that could ever happen to you. It may not feel that way, but it is true. I can't recommend this book enough. It is insightful, has real life examples, hits to the heart and is personal, not airy-fairy.

Helping Yourself With Closure
I enjoyed this book. I cried many times because the authors truly depicted my attitude towards myself and others. This book is an absolutely necessary supplement to the bible, and how to live our lives as Jesus intended us to do. Please re-read the bible when Jesus comes back and says "My peace I give to you ... " and he also says to forgive others (John 20:21). I believe that without the ability to forgive others, one cannot fulfill the passage to heaven where Jesus states "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 7:6).

Very Interesting & Controversial Book

Very helpful
This book has valuable insight into renewing our mind in Christ Jesus.There are some parallels with Larry Crabb's "Inside Out", which I also loved;this one goes much more into a Biblical analysis of the faulty thinking inherent in every human being, in particular analyzing the bad thinking of the Fall.There was new stuff in here I had never thought of before about actually renewing your mind and putting to death these faulty ways of thinking, which permeate us and control us so much of the time. ... An adventure story perfect for reading aloud day or night

A funny story

First I thought it was a story about this scary monster, but then I found out it was not scary at all.It was a funny story about how these lumberjacks tricked these animal catchers from taking the Hodag to the zoo. My favorite part was when the lumberjacks tricked the animal catchers when they said the Hodag lived on the other side of the forest. The funniest part was when the Hodag scared the animal catchers so bad they fell into their own trap. I am going to tell my teacher about this book and I hope she lets me bring it to school to share with all my friends. Thank you for letting me read it.


Becca was so excited to finally get to review her own book she read it immediately. She was asking me if she could keep it to show all her friends about this new book she had read. She literally laughed out loud when they fell into the trap. Great job!!!

A Sweet Book about the PA Dutch
The artwork in this book is breath taking.It is set in fall and the paintings are stunning.I was looking for a book that explains a little about PA Dutch/Amish life, and this book just exemplifies it, it doesn't explain it.They use some scattered PA Dutch sayings and words, and it walks you through a typical, ?non-farming? day.The family takes their horse and buggy to go shopping at the general store, they visit a friend at the farmers' market, and have dinner.At night, the cows still need milking.It's a nice gentle story, but I would love to know why there is a very prominent car displayed in one of the paintings, on an Amish farm???My son wanted to know why, and I couldn't explain it.This is a nice gentle story about the PA Dutch way of life.
