Some Really Great Poetry
I think my favorite poem here is the one Richard Lovelace wrote when he was in prison for being on the wrong side in English Civil War.I think it was called "To Lucasta, from Prison."It goes something like this:

Stone walls do not a prison make,
Nor iron bars a cage;
Minds innocent and quiet take
That for an hermitage;
If I have freedom in my love,
And in my soul am free,
Angels alone that soar above
