There comes to most of us a time of awakening from the dreams of childhood, a time when the shadows and bright visions of youth change into realities-times when we are brought face to face with the conviction that our pathway is not always flower-strewn, but there are thorns and brambles to encounter, and rough places to pass over, which cannot be avoided.
