25. Oh How The Angel's Sing Allison Chambers Coxsey
That He would choose to send His Son in a tiny baby boy, And make His life a sacrifice;How the angel's sing for joy. Allison chambers Coxsey ©1995 ~ All
http://www.allisonsheart.com/angelssing/angelssing.html
~ Oh How The Angels Sing ~
In the sparkling crystal coolness of a quiet winter night,
Was a boy child in a manger bathed in soft and holy light.
As a star shined high above Him, as the angels sang for joy,
They were welcoming the King of Kings in a tiny baby boy.
On a hillside shepherds huddled 'round a warm inviting flame,
It was just another winter night; How soon their lives would change.
For suddenly surrounding them were angel voices clear,
Singing, " Glory to God in the highest," The shepherds shook with fear.
When all at once the fear was gone, replaced with peace untold,
As angels brought good tidings, the story did unfold. They told of how a King had come and in a manger lay, In a quiet town in Bethlehem in a stable filled with hay. Of how this little boy child was of a virgin birthed, Fulfilling old time prophecies of Messiah come to earth. The angels bade the shepherds to go and find the babe, To seek the King of Glory in a manger filled with hay. As suddenly as they had come the angels now were gone, With them went the brilliant light and the night sky filled with song.

26. Journey's End.... A Poem By Allison Chambers Coxsey
in peace in the arms of God, My precious, faithful friend; You'll be in the joy ofeach memory, Long after your journey's end. Allison chambers Coxsey, ©2000.
http://www.allisonsheart.com/journey/journey.html
~~ Journey's End ~~
When your light goes out upon this earth,
I'll look up to the sky;
It will twinkle there in a million stars,
Like it did here in your eyes.
And when your flame no longer burns,
To warm my every day;
I will bask in the warmth of your memory,
That will never go away.
Then when your laughter no longer rings,
I'll listen deep within; For it will be the sweetest gift, 'Twas left here by my friend. So rest in peace in the arms of God, My precious, faithful friend; You'll be in the joy of each memory, Long after your journey's end. Allison Chambers Coxsey, ©2000 AKA Written while Butterbean was ill.... Many tears went into this page and poem. I wrote it for and dedicated it to my Online "Brother," George. After meeting him online and spending many months sharing this journey we call life, I came to love him like a brother. It was a joy to meet George and his wife Peggy when I was traveling through their part of the world...So much so, that we decided to take them up on their invitation to come see them. It took 10 hours to drive there, but it was one of the best 10 hours I ever invested in a trip. George and Peggy treated us like family...Just the way I love to be treated. We only came to love them more in that wonderful time with them.

http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/4678/joy.html
The Joy Homestead
156 Scituate Ave, Cranston, RI
The Joy Homestead
by Gladys Brayton Condensed from a longer article, "Joytown and the Joy Homestead." No event of great historical importance took place here, but the Joy Homestead, restored, is a typical example of 18th century construction, the home for three generations of typical 18th and 19th century people. The gambrel roofed house of ten rooms has many interesting features. There is the deep cellar where farm products could be preserved below the frost line. The wooden cradle on which the great central chimney rests is plainly visible.
A center front door opens into a tiny hall. On either side are the parlor and the old keeping room. Straight ahead, as one opens the door, is the stairway to the second floor. The space is small, necessitating a turn to right in a step or two and the risers are high, the treads narrow and pie shaped at the turn.
The central chimney provides three fireplaces on the first floor. That in the keeping room has a brick oven with ash pit below. The hearth is stone and the mantle utilitarian. Opposite this fireplace is another, in the parlor, with a more pretentious mantle, dentil trimmed, each square dentil pegged on with a tiny wooden peg. The parlor has a cupboard with shelves for china and family treasures. In back of the parlor is a tiny bedroom.
In the middle of the house, at the rear is what is know as the inner room, which can be entered from either parlor or keeping room, and like those rooms, it has a fireplace. Next to the inner room, at the south and opening from the keeping room, is the borning room, so called because here the mother of the family bore her children where it was comparatively warm, handy for supplies for her comfort and where she could oversee the running of her household.

Special to the Star-Telegram

The Roanoke/Trophy Club/Westlake Chamber of Commerce awards banquet didn't start out as a birthday party, but that's exactly how it ended. We even sang Happy Birthday, led by Southlake jeweler Pieter Andries Hye. That's because he donated a Rolex watch for a raffle, which Coco Brown of Keller won on her birthday. "We were all sitting there saying nuh-uh because she only bought one [ticket], but that's all it takes," said Mary Ann Izzarelli, a Trophy Realtors co-worker who was sitting with her. But Coco wasn't the only winner Thursday night at the Marriott Solana. Because it was the Annual Golden Key Awards banquet, lots of service winners were announced. Named rookie of the year was Shane Somers, who works as the Marriott Solana's marketing director. The connection was not lost on the chamber's outgoing chairman, Charles Haynes

Week 47 - Thursday - 19 October 2000 Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday ... Shabbat MOED KATAN: CHAPTER 1: MISHNAH 6 One may not dig burial chambers and tombs on the Moed, but one may prepare burial chambers on the Moed. And one may make a nivrekhet on the Moed, and a coffin with the corpse in the courtyard. Rabbi Yehudah prohibits unless there are boards with him. Kehati One may not dig burial chambers and tombs on the Moed - i.e., during Hol Hamoed , for people who might die, because this entails excessive trouble ( Rashi ). The Gemara explains that "burial chambers" are prepared by digging (i.e., niches dug in the walls of caves), and "tombs" are in a building (tombs that are built above ground - Rambam ). According to this interpretation, the mishnah therefore means: They may not dig burial chambers nor build tombs; but one may prepare burial chambers on the Moed - i.e., burial chambers which had been made before the Festival may be improved, by lengthening or widening them on Hol Hamoed , because this does not entail much trouble ( Tiferet Yisrael ). Although the mishnah mentions "burial chambers," the law applies to tombs as well (
