Too much soy could lead to kidney stones
New research indicates that soybeans and soy-based foods, a staple in the diets of many health-conscious consumers, may promote kidney stones in those prone to the painful condition. The finding will be published in the September issue of the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, a peer-reviewed journal of the American Chemical Society, the world’s largest scientific society. The researchers measured nearly a dozen varieties of soybeans for oxalate, a compound that can bind with calcium in the kidney to form kidney stones. They also tested 13 types of soy-based foods, finding enough oxalate in each to potentially cause problems for people with a history of kidney stones, according to Linda Massey, Ph.D., at Washington State University in Spokane. The amount of oxalate in the commercial products easily eclipsed the American Dietetic Association’s 10 milligram-per-serving recommendation for patients with kidney stones, with some foods reaching up to 50 times higher than the suggested limit, she noted. “Under these guidelines, no soybean or soy-[based] food tested could be recommended for consumption by patients with a personal history of kidney stones,” she said.

When various organs in our body such as the kidneys or gallbladder malfunction, conventional medicine's answer is to do surgery. This approach is expensive and involves many months of rehabilitation as scar tissue heals. Worst of all, the initial surgery does not always solve the problem and more cutting is required. Natural health practitioners have found a painless alternative to surgery. They say that if an organ is flushed out and cleaned, it will often start functioning properly again. They recommend going on a fast where only juices and distilled water are ingested to effectively cleanse and flush out various organs in the body. Other health products available here:

What Causes kidney stones? kidney stones are hardened crystal clumps thatcan develop in the urinary system. Can kidney stones Damage The Kidney?
http://www.afud.org/conditions/ksbefore.html
Before
The Urinary System and How It Works
The urinary system includes two kidneys, two tube-like ureters that connect the kidneys to the bladder , and another tube, the urethra , that connects the bladder to the outside of the body. The parts of the urinary system are shown below.
Front Interior View of Urinary System [Male or Female] Each kidney is bean-shaped and about the size of an adult's fist. The kidneys are located below the ribs and toward the back. They contain nearly 40 miles of tubes, most of them tiny, that process some 100 gallons of blood each day. The kidneys filter and clean the blood, and they produce urine from excess water and dissolved solids. The ureters carry waste, as urine, from the kidneys to the bladder. The bladder, located in the lower abdomen, is a balloon-like organ that stores urine. A bladder can hold over a pint of urine. During urination, the urethra carries urine from the bottom of the bladder out of the body.
What Causes Kidney Stones?
Kidney stones are hardened crystal clumps that can develop in the urinary system. They usually form because there is a breakdown in the balance of liquids and dissolved solids in the urine. The kidneys must keep the right amount of water in the body while they remove materials that the body cannot use. If this balance is disturbed, the urine can become overloaded with substances (usually small crystals) that won't dissolve in water. Crystals begin to stick together and slowly add layer upon layer to form a stone. A kidney stone may grow for months or even years before it causes a problem.

Author Contact Information What Are Kidney Stones?: A kidney stone is a large crystals or "stone" that forms in the kidney. Different salts in the urine can precipitate to form a stone. These salts precipitate most commonly when they occur in high concentrations in the urine. Stones occur commonly and usually do not cause damage to the kidney or urinary tract. Sometimes the stone(s) remains in the kidney without ever being noticed. When the stone passes from the kidney to the bladder severe excruciating pain ensues that is relieved only after the stone has passed. If the stone gets stuck in the ureter ( see image ) on its way from the kidney to the bladder, severe unrelenting pain can occur until the stone is removed. In a minority of people the stone never makes its way out of the kidney but continues to grow until it interferes with the function of the kidney.

Overview Very little of what we eat is retained by the body, most is excreted. Sometimes, portions of the excreted material crystallize into stones of various sorts. Bile can crystallize in the gallbladder and form gallstones. Urine in the kidneys can form kidney stones, which can cause writhing flank pain and bleeding into the urine (hematuria). Kidney stones can enlarge and block the part of the kidney that collects the urine (staghorn calculus), or they may try to travel from the kidney to the bladder through the tube that connects these two organs, the ureter. While the kidney is a relative capacious space for stones, the ureter is not. It is a tiny muscular tube about the thickness of a shoelace. Having a stone block the ureter is like a tiny rock with sharp edges getting stuck in it. The kidney is still filtering and putting out urine, but it all gets backed up behind that stone, and the battle begins. The pressure of the backed-up urine either pushes the little prickly stone along the ureter, causing severe pain and bleeding as the lining of the ureter gets scraped; or the stone can get stuck in one spot and completely block the flow of urine from the kidney. With time, most stones are eventually pushed all the way through the ureter into the bladder where they pass with the outgoing urine into the outside world. In the meantime, if they're stuck, they may need the help of a urologist (see
