Extractions: by Mary Thompson May 2 - Another great turnout and a fun day - we played Honey Pot a.k.a. stableford. There were three deuces, Stella Gray, Shirley Rehaume and Dianne Hanowski (new girl and I'm not sure of the spelling). The game was won by Myrt Wilder, and Shirley Rehaume was second. May 9 - our annual Tournament of Roses originated by our first president Helen Myers. There were three flights - Mary Thompson won the 0-21, Bev Palfrey won the 21-28 and Nellie Hrdlicka won the 29 plus. The roses were beautiful, and thanks to Helen for buying them for us. There were five deuces - Stella Gray, Anne Kiely, Bev Palfrey, Mary Thompson and Lorna Trapp. The weather was a great improvement over the previous days. We had 24 players, so another good turnout. May 16 - Not exactly spring weather. We'll probably go from winter to summer. We had a good turnout again. The game was Partners Best Ball Net, and we had some really good scores. The ultimate winners were Ingrid Sands and Margo Holschuh with a net 55; in second place was Dianne Hanowski and Shirley Miller with a 58. We had two deuces - Dana and Lorna Robitaille. Tuesday we visit our friends at Mountainside in our semi annual Fairmont Challenge. Always a good time with new and old friends "up top".

First flight low gross, Wilda Schab and Stella Gray tied; low net Mary Thompson. Second flight low gross winner Lorna Robitaille, runner up Lavonne Holmes; Low net Regan Geiger runner up Myrt Wilder.
