Bought this for my son since my husband is an alum.The pictures are alright.I also bought the University of Texas version for a friend.Although the listing said the book was new and it looked new, the bottom of the book had a highlighter marking like the clearance books at book stores.This made my gift seem cheap. ... Study Misguide
This "guide" isn't worth the paper it was printed on.It's poorly organized and written and is riddled with formatting and spelling errors.It appears as if the authors simply copied and pasted random materials from the internet and labeled the result a study guide.The company selling the guide also falsely advertises on its website the number and depth of practice questions.The guide in fact includes only five practice questions, which are only remotely related to the AEPA exam, and there is no explanation (as is promised on the website) about why the correct answers are correct.In essence, I found this product to be completely useless as a preparation tool for the AEPA professional knowledge exam.It doesn't deserve even a single star, but that's the lowest rating I'm able to assign. ... Excellent
This book was and has continued to be very useful for creating bulletin boards for classes. It has given many good ideas that help make the bulletin board more interesting and fun, especially for the students. Probably one of the best books I have bought for my teaching library thus far!

Worst book ever
This is hands down the worst book I have ever added to my professional library.When I saw the title, "Bulletin Bored?" I thought that it was a "cure" for people sick of skeleton boards in October, hearts in February and flowers in March.I was wrong.It is centered around holidays and couldn't be used for any upper grades as the "K-12" suggests.For upper grades they have a section on "Social Issues" and suggest making a Suicide board with slogans like "You Don't Have To Be Alone".There are is also a suggestion for a board where you appear to be staring down the barrel of a gun.I'm sick of holiday themed bulletin boards, but if you like them, that's your prerogative.(If you're sick of them too, check out The Great Bulletin Unbored Book One and Two published by Tin Man Press.) If you choose to decorate based on the holidays, use a calendar for ideas, not this book.It does include patterns for heart people, but I think printing from the internet or clip art would be a lot less time consuming than copying, coloring, and cutting out these dated pictures.Save your money teachers!You don't make enough as it is.
