Excerpts From The On May 5, 1999, Barbara Lawrence's Spanish class celebrated cinco de mayo. They teachkids that it is all right to make a mistake as long as you learn from http://www.brehm.org/NewsLtrs/NewsV1998N5/
Extractions: Excerpts from the Return to Newsletter Index On the morning of Tuesday, May 4, 1999, ground was broken on the Brehm campus for a new classroom building. The entire student body, faculty , staff, and administrators were assembled to witness the historical event. Student Council President Doug Frates, alumna Natalie Phelps, and veteran teachers Char Reed and Greg "Coach" Douglas had the honor of breaking ground with a gold shovel. Soon, the sound of bulldozers consumed the campus, turning over tons of dirt to form the building's foundation. The new building will house five classrooms (including two science labs) and two offices. Junior high classes and high school art and science classes will be held in the new building, allowing for renovation in Christie Hall to make the existing classrooms larger. [ Back to Top ] The raffle was a success thanks to the many parents, faculty, staff, alumni and friends who donated items and purchased tickets. The grand prize, a week-long vacation on the coast of Maine donated by current parents, was won by Board Member Joe Milligan.
