Product Description
"Can we get some reality in here?" asks Judy Sheindlin, former supervising judge for Manhattan Family Court. For twenty-four years she has laid down the law as she understands it:

  • If you want to eat, you have to work.

  • If you have children, you'd better support them.

  • If you break the law, you have to pay.

  • If you tap the public purse, you'd better be accountable.

Now she abandons all judicial restraint in a scathing critique of the system--filled with realistic hard-nosed alternatives to our bloated welfare bureaucracy and our soft-on-crime laws. ... Read more

Don't Pee on My Leg and Tell Me It's Raining: America's Toughest Family Court Judge Speaks OutBeauty Fades, Dumb Is Forever: The Making of a Happy Woman
Ordered two books and was very impressed with the speed and condition they arrived here to Spain. Judge Judy does not dissappoint with her books, it is like hearing her on the T.V. ! No nonsense and tells it like it is! Very satisfied customer.

5-0 out of 5 stars Don't pee on my leg
Don't Pee on My Leg and Tell Me it's Raining is a GREAT book.I have read two other books by Judge Judy and I really appreciate her opinion and response to so many topics. She expects responsibility and accountability with no excuses. How refreshing. In this book she covers many social and government programs and their many faults - but provides insight into solutions. She's an amazing person!

5-0 out of 5 stars I love Judge Judy!
I am a big fan of Judge Judy. This book tells a lot about her background and history in the legal industry. She talks about common sense and what is wrong in our society today. Great book. I wish she would run for office.

4-0 out of 5 stars Don't Pee on My Leg and Tell Me It;s Raining by Judge Judy
Hey it's Judge Judy I love her. Outspoken but that is what makes her a good Judge. Many people come to court for nonesense and frankly I think they make themselves look foolish. Go Judge Judy you tell them. If you like Judge Judy you will enjoy the book.

Editorial Review

Product Description
Criminal justice professionals and the media have noted the rise of juvenile crime rates nationwide and a growing surge in youth violence. This in turn has highlighted the debate over juvenile transfers to adult courts. Proponents of treating violent juvenile offenders as adults argue that juvenile offenders should be held accountable and receive punishment that is appropriate to the seriousness of their offences and that society must be protected by their removal from law abiding communities. They urge that young offenders must be held accountable for both lesser and more serious crimes, especially when the former offences, if unpunished, may lead offenders to commit the latter. Opponents of treating violent juveniles offenders as adults argue that harsh punishment of juvenile offenders is counterproductive, creating recidivism. Their contention is that youths who are committing crimes should still be tried in juvenile courts rather than adult courts, for a greater effect. This informative book presents all the current issues, problems, ideas, as well as some background on the controversies surrounding juvenile crime. ... Read more

Product Description
The study of criminology places a substantial amount of research on the relationships between personality and criminality. In one of his greatest contributions to criminology, Hans Eysneck introduced the concept of the Conditioning Theory. Using the Conditioning Theory, which focused on the delinquency/personality relationship, this paper follows one of America’s most prolific serial killers. Known as the “Iceman”, Richard Kuklinski worked for all seven of the East Coast crime families as the premier contract killer for nearly 35 years.
