Every recipe I have tried in here is fantastic.

Except for the Zuni water balls. They stunk.

An Introduction to Macrobiotics is exactly what the title says.This book is a very basic overview of how a macrobiotic follower views the world and includes brief biographies on the Japanese group of people who areresponsible for the reintroduction of the macrobiotics lifestyle into themodern world.The book is very easy to read and only briefly touches onthe different components of a macrobiotic lifestyle.The introduction tothe Yin and Yang aspects of the world in general and food in specific waseasy to grasp.Where Ms. Heidenry could have expounded was the conceptthat she alluded to a couple times of the centering of the diet aroundgrains.This book would probably be a great prerequisite for Ms.Heidenry's book, Making the Transition to a Macrobiotic Diet. ...
