4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent rundown of the hectic first day
This talented author died in 2006 not having completed the other books she had planned to detail the first three days of the Oklahoma City Bombing. This is an excellent rundown of that hectic first day and a very organized review of all that went on during the crucial first hours before the official story became set in cement. Thank God that this wonderful author had the opportunity to publish this book.

4-0 out of 5 stars Rest in peace, Michele
Not a review. Quoted here is a message from Michele Marie Moore's husband, David.

====

Michele Moore passed away yesterday (6-3-06) at approximately 2:15 p.m. The doctors will tell you that she died of cancer. I tell you that she died because she was tired of the fight, decided to stop fighting, and fell asleep. She informed me of her intention to "let go" about a week ago. It was hard for me to accept, but, accept it I finally did, and, yesterday, she finally let go. She was a great woman, the love of my life, and I know that her memory will always be with you, as it will always be with me and Anna.

There will be a memorial service held in Oklahoma on Saturday, 6-11-06, at 7 p.m. Please contact [*] for more details. I ask that you keep fond memories of Michele, and pray for me and Anna.

God bless you. I know that she loved so many of you so much.

David Moore, husband, also speaking on behalf of Anna, her daughter

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent book
Most documented of all the books I have seen on this subject.

Presents compelling prima facia evidence proving detonations inside the building as well as BATF prior knowledge and also covers how evidence was 'lost', covered up and ignored.

The glossary in this work (about half the book)is very informative.

Read it for yourself.

5-0 out of 5 stars The truth about the OKC bombing revealed!
Michele Marie Moore was on top of the story from the time the explosion ocurred and accurately reports on what happened that fateful day. After reading this book, you will be wise to doubt what the "Big Media" dictates to you every day and the lies that the FBI and ATF espouse as the "Official story". I wish that Michele Marie Moore would write a sequel to this book, which I think she intended to do.

2-0 out of 5 stars Save Your Money
I've read 4 books on the subject and all this one is a play by play of what happened and a plug for The Malitia and Grand Puba William Cooper of the Intelligence Dept of the 2nd Constitutional Malitia.Read the book byMcVeighs lawyer, Others Unknown. That is an extremely well written andinsightful book. This one was a waste of my money. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Insightful and important information for everyone
Kerry masterfully draws you into the world of terrorism just as he and his family were drawn into the group. A truly riveting tale that offers insight so very relevant to the reality of potential domestic and foreign terrorism faced by the world today. If you ever thought such groups were harmless or didn't really exist, you had better read Kerry's book!

3-0 out of 5 stars Tabernacle of Hate: Far Right Phony Goes Far Wrong
I was one of the reporters forced to confront Kerry Noble and the heavily armed thugs he commanded at Bull Shoals Lake. It was 1984 and the fascist fringe Noble represented was on the rise: talk radio host Alan Berg had been assassinated in Denver because he was Jewish, an extremist named Gordon Kahl had gunned down two federal marshalls come to arrest him on a minor a tax beef. State troopers in Missouri and Arkansas were about to be slaughtered by Noble's friends. I can tell you when I stood before him, I saw no glint of insight, compassion or self-doubt in his eyes. He liked carrying guns, playing camouflage-clad warrior, and kowtowing to the petty and perverse Hitler who commanded CSA.I find it ironic that after all the horror Noble and his spiritual disciples, including Timothy McVeigh visited upon our country, he writes a tell-all book about his supposed "conversion" from the dark side. Another ignoble scam: this one about money rather than sex and power. Perhaps we'll give Osama bin Ladn a book contract too.

5-0 out of 5 stars A 'must read' for those interested in cults.
This book is a wonderful read. It is a fascinating chronicle of how a closedcommunity, founded on religious principles, slowly goes off the rails as its members fall under the spell of extremist ideas.

5-0 out of 5 stars Frightening insider's view of the racial right
Kerry Noble brings a new and fascinating look into the workings of the extremist right in America. His experiences, his insights and his confusion as a member of CSA creates a sensitive account of a devout manstruggling with both himself and the toxic dogma of an insular and isolatedsociety. As a writer who has researched the racial right for over fiveyears, I find that Noble does an excellent job of articulating theconversion experiences of the radicalized religious right. It is indeed ashort step sometimes from moral dissension to dangerous alienation, from aspiritual retreat to an armed camp.

Tabernacle of Hate againillustrates the dangers of blind faith in any leader, the twilight zonereality of isolated individuals whose only truth is the truth from withinthe movements, the odd "Catch-22's" of revelation and prophecy aspracticed by the Identists, and the uncompromising racial and politicalpositions that faith demands.

But perhaps more than the examination ofthe radical movements, Noble's ruthless examination of himself and hisbeliefs add a dimension to his work that is missing from other works ofthis nature.Noble provides a clear understanding of how a good-heartedand well-intentioned man can lose himself in a world of fear, hatred anddark religious zeal.

Howard L. Bushart Co-author, "Soldiers of God:White Supremacists and Their Holy War for America"

5-0 out of 5 stars The definitive work on right wing extremism in the US
Tabernacle of Hate by Kerry Noble is the definitive work about the Christian right wing extremist movement in the US and Canada today. Noble imparts an understandable and pointed look inside the extremist-religionist mentality in the US and even insight into the fanatic religionist movement around the world.

Tabernacle of Hate is must reading for politicians, political scientists, psychologists, sociologists and anyone who cares about fanaticism in action and its effects on the very foundations of the nation. The book is well written by Noble and very well edited by Sean Fordyce. It should be the basis for documentaries and even a feature film.It is worthy of the attention of Speilberg.Only a film maker of that caliber can do justice to the importance and ramifications of the revelations of Kerry Noble. ... Product Description
The first session of the 59th Congress introduced the

consideration of the statehood bill, providing for the admission of two states: one to be composed of the Indian and Oklahoma Territories, and the other formed by uniting Arizona and New Mexico Territories. The Omnibus Statehood Bill became law on June 14, 1906. On the morning of November 16, 1907, more than 10,000 residents from Oklahoma City

traveled to Guthrie to celebrate their recently won statehood. Using over 200 images combined with well-documented facts from city directories, newspapers, and first-hand accounts, this book chronicles Oklahoma City‚'s unique history from its beginnings in the early 20th century as Packingtown to the

Depression Era. Also featured are many glimpses into the city‚'s everyday past‚--scenes of residents enjoying a day at Belle Isle, the State Fair, and on the streets of downtown‚--and a section on Henry Samuel Overholser, the Father of Oklahoma City. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars OKC History Comes Alive
I have always been a "history" buff so to speak. When I was loaned this book to read I was half skeptical as to it's contents. What else would I be able to learn about Oklahoma City History that I didn't already know. Turns out I learned alot! Mr. Griffith manages once again to transport me back to the time OK became a state and how it flourished into the 1930's. I learned so much about the founding father's of OKC, the architechture, the people, the city and much, much more. The author manages to achieve a great balance between pictures and words. So not only are the words painting a excellant picture but you have plenty of images to go along with it.
Many times when somebody writes a book on history it's dry and boring and full of stuff you already know. In reading this book you find yourself going hmmmmmm...that's pretty cool! I trully enjoyed the minute trivia about "jog" in the OKC streets, the history of the Skirvin and much more more. I think this should be on every H.S. reading list for Oklahoma History. Well done Mr. Griffith...well done.

The City of Oklahoma City uses Special Zoning Districts as a tool to maintain the character of many neighborhood communities. downtown Oklahoma CityDowntown Oklahoma City itself is currently undergoing a renaissance, one of the largest in the nation. Between the mid 1980s and 1990s, downtown was unchanged and largely vacant. It was the scene of the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on 5th Street between Robinson and Harvey Avenues, caused by convicted domestic terrorist Timothy McVeigh; most buildings within a 1-mile (1.6 km) radius were structurally damaged by the explosion, including the old Journal Record Building (now home to the National Memorial museum). Many other buildings, such as the unique international style YMCA building, supposedly one of few remaining in the United States were damaged or destroyed. White flight during the 1950s and 1960s left much of the inner city abandoned. During the Urban Renewal days of the early 1980s, controversial urban planning allowed for the destruction of almost 50 historic buildings and skyscrapers.
