Fun grab bag of all things Halloween
This book is definitely a nice little compendium of all things Halloween. You'll find the history of the holiday, poems, stories, plays, as well as a how-to section on costumes, recipes and crafts all in a clear, easy to read lay-out. The "how-to" section is an almost complete lifting of another book "The Halloween Book" by Jack Macguire, but as that little paperback is out of print and hard to find, it was fun to find it reprinted in this sourcebook. You won't find anything new or outrageous here, but for a collection of classic Halloween lore and holiday fun, this book is great.
