Don't buy this book!
This book consists of basically listings of every McDonald's in Florida.It is basically pulled from the phone book and not one bit informative.I expected a listing with descriptions of some cute out of the way places, well certainly not in this book!

Not Enough Information
I was very disappointed with this book.I could have gotten the same information out of the phone book.

Has he actually been there?
As a world travelor, I was grossly dissappointed with this book.It's full of generalities, and one wonders whether the author has actually been there.

A more appropriate list would include:

I can't understand why this is called a "guide".It is a list of restaurants by neighorhood, with their address and phone nuber - that's it - no reviews, no stars or other rating system whatsoever. What a delight!
I have used this book extensively in my travels throughout the South. In fact, I have planned some of my trips so that I can sample the delicious food found at the country cafes recommended by the author. My only complaint would be that the author has not come forth with a second book; I have some nominees for him!

As is typical of his work, Don O'Briant has filled his latest book with humor, insight, creativity and accurate information.He's a well-known Atlanta journalist and has a reporter's discerning eye.But he's also aphilosopher and a warm and sympathetic observer of the human condition. Gratefully, his restaurant reviews aren't like other people's.You feellike you're really there and can experience for yourself the people, smellsand sights he describes.The inclusion of comments by notable Southernorsis an original and effective device.You can tell that he is adown-to-earth (but incredibly observant) person who genuinely likes theplaces he went and the people he met.And, best of all, he's a great judgeof food.Zagat, take notice! Although comprehensive, it is not complete.
I felt this product was not satisfactory because it informed from a biased viewpoint. The solutions given by the author do not cover many routes to a solution, just what works for them. For instance, Macintosh and Unixsystems are not covered in the computer section, just Windows. Theadvantages of knowing other solutions can save money for a potentialbusiness owner! ... Read more
