Product Description
Can we really know what UFO's are?The answer is Yes-but only if we study them armed with a kind of knowledge that explains the true and complete structure of the universe-spiritual, psychic, and material-a knowledge that only traditional metaphysics can provide.Science can supply one piece of the puzzle, detective work another, psychic investigation still another. But only metaphysics can put the puzzle together, and give us a complete and satisfying picture of the UFO phenomenon.Cracks in the Great Wallanalyzes of the findings of UFO researcher Jacques Vallee and some of his colleagues in light of the teachings of René Guénon, particularly as expressed in his prophetic masterpiece The Reign of Quantity and the Signs of the Times. According to Guénon, one of the signs of the End Times is the erosion of the energy barrier or 'Great Wall' between the material plane and the world of subtle realities-which is why our world is now being invaded by 'infra-psychic forces' of a terribly destructive nature. Author Charles Upton shows how one of the most obvious examples of this invasion is the UFO phenomenon, including the experience of 'alien abduction'. A lifetime student of comparative religion and mysticism, he explains the true nature of UFOs, the quality of the world they come from, and also something about the agenda these beings, or some of them, are trying to impose upon our world. If you want to remain merely mystified or fascinated by the UFO phenomenon, this book is not for you. But if you want to understand it, Cracks in the Great Wall will give you the conceptual tools you need. With the help of UFOlogists Jacques Vallee and John E. Mack, Christian writers C.S. Lewis and Seraphim Rose, Kaballah authority Leo Schaya, and traditionalist writers René Guénon and Whitall Perry, Charles Upton has provided the most comprehensive explanation of the UFO phenomenon yet written. It is difficult to be objective in areas outside our collective view of reality-but if, as the author contends,  his argument is based on sound  principles, it deserves serious consideration by all who are interested in the UFO phenomenon  and its effect on our world. ."Charles Upton is a serious writer from whom I have learned much. His writing deserves close attention."-Prof. Huston Smith, author of The World's Religions, etc. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A desparately needed dose of the Truth!
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is involved in anyway with the alien/UFO experience and their own spiritual journey. Thank God for Charles Upton's courage to write this much needed information. As he says, the ETs are liars! They all have their own agendas. It is a complete waste of your time to communicate with them and the other denizens of the Invisible Realms - and dangerous for your soul.

I am someone who has personally been involved with ET transmissions. I know far too many people who have received this deceptive confusion that cunningly enhances the frail egos of those who are simply sadly unaware of traditional metaphysics. It has taken me years of meditative introspection and the brilliant writings of Rene Guenon to understand the truth.

PLEASE READ this book and clear the cobwebs out!

Yet, this does not mean the signs and wonders are not authentic, because the deceptions within this exposé have happened and are more profound and are occurring more frequently than ever before. However, the signs and wonders being revealed are not God’s manifestations, but manifestations fabricated by the prince and ruler of the world, Satan (worker of darkness). ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Everyone MUST read this book!!
Perhaps the most important book ever written, this short but concise volume gives us an alternative version of human history. What if Darwin and the religionists are both wrong? What if mankind is much older than we've been led to believe? What if the creators of the Flinstones had it right, and we were around in the time of the dinosaurs? Better yet, what if we are dinosaurs? What if intelligent dinosaurs bred us to be their "dog-like" servants, and we rebelled (ala the garden of eden story)? Read this book and you'll believe all of the above, and more! Don't buy this book unless you want to know the probable truth about human history. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Witnesses who glow in the dark
The book "The UFO Conspiracy, The First Forty Years" is a book detailing alleged accounts of UFOs all around the world, and peoples encounters with them. The UFO Conspiracy starts with the supposed crash of a flying saucer in Roswell N.M. in 1947 to the time of the book's publishing in 1987. The stories described in The UFO Conspiracy range from people seeing lights in the sky, or finding metallic wreckage with weird writing on it in the desert, to being abducted by little bug-like, Grey men.
In part one of the book, "The UFO Invasion", the author describes hoe UFOs have been seen landing in remote forests, to hovering over the White House. Part two "The UFO Worldwide" tells of more sightings all around the world. It details stories from the US, UK, Africa, New Zealand, and Russia.Part three "The UFO Proof" gave an exceedingly larger amount of physical proof from video evidence, to mass sightings, even to abductees who glow in the dark do to radiation from UFOs (they believe). Part four "The UFO Cover-up" details the governments of the world's views and public policies about this issue. Part four focused on the US, governments of Europe, Russia, and the UN.
I thought this book was very interesting, but unless you are into this kind of thing you might not find it as interesting. But I think the book gives enough evidence to turn a natural skeptic like me into a convinced believer.

is an overview of UFO discoveries in the context of the battle between mainstream science and researchers who dare to study UFOs. It explores the history of UFO research and how it's been labeled a deviant science a definition that emerged gradually out of military/governmental investigations and coverups. Although physical scientists are generally perceived as being hostile to ufology individual scientists are less condemning of UFO studies than it would appear from the taboo status of UFOs in academic institutions. In fact respectable speculation among astronomers about ET civilization is that there is probably a great deal of it in our own galaxy and we should try to contact it ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Ufology as Sociology
I found this book library and almost didn't take it out because the publisher (Wild Flower Press) sounded too airy-fairy, New Age-y for me.How wrong I was. This is an excellent treatment of the sociology of ufology. It is a well-researched, heavily-footnoted survey of the ufology: its luminaries, it's debunkers, and it's internal controversies. This is required reading for anyone who is interested in this field.Don't read this book seeking an answer to the question "are UFOs real?"Rather, read it to understand th field of ufology, and how similar, and dissimilar, it is to other areas of research. The large bibliography alone is worth the price of the book.Congratulations to Gettysburg College for supporting Dr. Emmons in this work. After finishing the book, I bought my own copy - the ultimate compliment.

5-0 out of 5 stars the best academic introduction to a very complex subject.
C.F.Emmons book shows for the first time the diverse factors that undermine a objetive appraisal of ufo related phenomena limiting prematurely the big universe of discourse that this subject demand. This as the author says transform ufology in a "extreme deviant" subject much more that in parapsychology where similar "noise" has hindered its aceptance by normal science. A carefull sifting of this type of noise is done in the book's appendix through the selection of biographies/Ufologist Case Studies where only researchers(believers, skeptics and debunkers) with recognized academic credentials in traditional scientific disciplines are disclosed(I found only a marginal error when the author refer to John E.Mack as the Pulitzer winner for a biography of Lawrence of Arabia (p.231) instead of refering tohaving that prize for the life of D.H.Lawrence). Putting aside literary references the author shows a real effort in a multidisciplinary approach to a theme that cry doing so. Without doubt the final chapter is the more speculative and at some time the more balanced in weighting near all of the more popular theories about the "Larger Reality" that the study of this phenomena demmand of our methodological, epistemological and ontological assumptions behind our institutionalized blessed conceptions about our universe. A view in my opinion is lacking when he refers to "implicate order", "hyperspace" and other concepts borrowed from the new physics, this view is "multiverse" and "quantum parallelism" and "time loops" in alternative interpretations to the Bohm interpretation of QM. The explanatory potential for the UFO phenomena of this latter concepts are left for the interesed reader.

5-0 out of 5 stars A veritable banquet of food for thought!
Take off your blinders, pull your head out of the sand, we are probably not alone! Think what you will, but read this book before you decide. Three things:First,"At the Threshold" is genuinely entertaining.Second, the facts on this highly controversial subject are presented in aclear, concise manner. Third, Dr. Emmons isn't afraid to discuss thissubject in public, you needn't be afraid to read it in private! In anutshell, "At The Threshold" is a veritable banquet of food forthought. Enjoy!

1-0 out of 5 stars Eyebrows Up~~~~~~~~~~Alert!
I have not read the book but intend to read/scan it ASAP- MY QUESTION is the redundancy of the "reviews" written just above this (if this one makes it). Sure gets my antennae a'quivering (or else, too many peopleare regurgitating the same phrases without having the same experience---andmethinks that AIN'T synchronicity...)

5-0 out of 5 stars A remarkable book.
No one has ever taken such an objective and open-minded look at the people who study UFOs and their interaction with mainstream science. The decision to write this book from such an honest perspective was very ballsy, andEmmons should be commended for his integrity. Here is one man whounderstands and will not bend to the "peer pressures" ofmainstream Academics.Very refreshing (and surprising) ... 5-0 out of 5 stars the control system between your ears
Amazing book.I wish HALF of the UFO/"alien" researchers out there could be this explosive. It is really a shame that Jim Keith is no longer with us in the "flesh" (as it were), but with his writings like this small but powerful book, he continues to nudge, or rather strongly push, those of us still around who strive to meet, and cognitively engage with, reality on the edge(s) of human experience.I can understand why some will probably have a hard time trying to make sense of some of his ideas. This is probably because his epistemology and his ontology are not exactly the norm in either the UFO, or general conspiracy, interest groups.Of course, there are exceptions to the norm...some saliently so.Jim was one of them. His relatively straight forward model posits at least five different possible origins/explanations for the UFO phenomena, none of which are mutually exclusive. On the way there, he takes the reader on some romps through the "ancient astronaut" hypothesis which also spins off into questions about the nature of reality and the construction and maintenance of the "Control System."He pokes around into the Nazi and later black technology projects...also slipping in a little examination of some of our favorite magicians. He recounts his own experience with a "Grey" that took place long before Mr. Strieber hypnotized America with his book cover. He puts some serious headlocks on a number of the "big names" within the UFO community and even pokes us all in the "eye" a bit perhaps, when he observes that "a significant portion of the UFO hobbyist community use their obsession as a form of excitement, for the feeling of being 'in the know,' and as a substitute for a life" (p.44 - ouch!).One of his goals seems to have been to deconstruct hierarchical paradigms. As a result, the text might not be as rigidly within a "scientific" form of discourse as you might expect...which is to say, the WAY he delivers his message is in a sense the message itself. He's not trying to tell you what UFOs are, or where they come from.It seems to me he's trying to get you (the reader) to actively construct a more encompassing model of reality while engaging yourself with the text...whether that be this book, or your awareness.Highly recommended.

1-0 out of 5 stars Unserious approach on interesting and serious subjects.
I bought several books by Mr. Keith in order to get acquainted with the wealth of information this author/investigator has in the mind control/UFO subjects. I guess that I began by reading a book which might not be up to his previous ones. I still don't know, I will have to read all of them. This one was his last book before he passed away. I only hope his previous ones are not as disorganized as this is.

To begin, he tries to cover so many subjects in each chapter that he confuses the reader. When he expressed an opinion he makes it sure that he may or not may be telling the truth -- he doesn't know [Page 88]. At least he is honest. He writes about so many conspiracies intermingled between each other that at the end of the chapterno one knows which conspiracy ties with which one, and so forth.

It is a pity, because the author seems to have good information on the conspiracy subject. When he comes to talk about UFO, well, he says that he does not know if the phenomenon is real or is a delusion. Wow! Why? Because sometimes he says it is real and then further down he says that he does not believe it is [Last chapter: UFOs at the Edge of Reality]. This chapter is a "lecture" he delivered in Atlanta, Georgia on November, 1995. It gives the impression that he was improvising when he gave this lecture.

The author spends several pages on the semantics of reality, and then he goes to talk on his two "encounters" he had with two entities under an LSD experience --where he says,"...LSD and other hallucinogenics do not so much cause hallucinations..." No? And what do they cause, hangover?
At the end of those paragraphs he is not quite sure if what he experienced was real or not. Then, he makes so many silly comments everywhere such as... "The childlike alien might as well have been on a mission from George Bush". Or where he spends about three pages on an example of the Panda bear myth...Wow! I finish reading this book because if I want to have an opinion on something, then I must read it completely.

I think that this book was written under the influence of some kind of substance because it really doesn't make any sense at all...even on the author's own words. Pitiful.

5-0 out of 5 stars holy cow
This book is KEY.Here's the rub:

The Illuminati believe that humans have tapped into a multidimensional quantum intelligence matrix life form, probably from Sirius. This kind of lifeform manifests in our consciousness as "greys" and such. And for this lifeform, they are constructing a technological matrix grid which we now know as the internet.Human minds will tap in to, and ultimately be controlled by, an electromagnetic and brain implant technology.

Whether or not you believe the fundamental assumption that this view presents, you cannot argue against the fact that the technology does exist, and is being used actively on a mass level. Are you ready for the matrix? ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Brilliant
I had my spectacular UFO encounter in 1976 - but I never took up that incident and followed it up like Tony did. he has indeed written a "must read" even for the seasoned UFO and alien-buff. I learned a lot of details I wasnt aware of although I had previously read at least another 20 or so books on the subject and generally read up on the subject on the internet. highly recommended and wont be outdated before official disclosure, if it ever happens.

5-0 out of 5 stars Alien Investigator: By Tony Dodd
Very well done book, gives you an insite of what is happening in Europe and other countries besides the USA.

I also recommend "The day After Roswell" By Col. Corso.

5-0 out of 5 stars Top-notch UFO investigation
Tony Dodd has written one of the best UFO books out there, in my view. There are a variety of fascinating cases detailed in the book including those from England, America, Iceland, South Africa and other locations. Dodd, a former policeman, has a knack for doing detailed work and his descriptions of the various cases he discusses are thorough, credible, and in-depth. He covers the full gamut of UFO phenomena including sightings, abductions, animal and human mutilation, and other weird aspects. I found a lot of new cases I had never heard of before, and more detail about cases I already knew about like the strange incident of Captain Mantell in the late 40's. I can highly recommend this book to new and old UFO researchers alike. Anyone with a keen interest in the subject will learn something from Dodd's focussed and intensive investigations.
(Dr. Simeon Hein is the author of the OPENING MINDS softcover and audio books, and PLANETARY INTELLIGENCE.)

5-0 out of 5 stars A great story!
I find most UFO books utterly boring. There is lots of speculation but few hard, cold facts. Tony Dodd's book gives you a look at a true investigator of the paranormal. He is fair minded, never revealing his contacts and he still tries to maintain some skepticism when investigating UFO sightings. I have read many of the British investigators books. Most are trying to fill pages with a very weak thesis or story. Dodd comes through with an exciting tale. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Covers a lot. Finally a truely scientific look.
A great and very heavy read. I am a professional ghost hunter and I enjoyed the book. I agree it may be a little heavy for beginners. I have lent it to some friends wanting to read on the subject and they didn't make it past the first thirty pages.

For the beginner I recommend: How To Hunt Ghosts by Joshua Warren.

For the informed ghost hunter or patient enthusiast, I recommend this book.

3-0 out of 5 stars Book review
The book is a serious approach to the subject, some very good information. Bad side is quite a few wasted pages as spacers and with just a small amount of info on a entire page. Plus a section of "movies about ghosts" with Amityville Horror, that was pretty well debunked.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Book!
This book is extremely well written. The beginning chapters give you a very in-depth look into the science behind ghost hunting and the equipment used.I have read many good ghost hunting books and this is definitely one of the best ones out there.Everything you can think of is included in this how-to.It is written like a text, but does not bore.Great for beginners and seasoned investigators, alike.

5-0 out of 5 stars Don't miss this one...
I have read alot of books on the subject of ghosts and ghost hunting and I think this may just be the best of them all. At first I wasn't sure when the author got in to the brain stuff but it really makes you think, and it was very interesting. I like how he goes over so many different paranormal subjects, and he makes you think about all the possible reasons for activity. He's not trying to make you believe one way or the other,(which I find a refreshing change) but rather gives you all the options to consider so you'll take more time to review things. I think this book is a must for beginners. It's well written in simple language so you don't get lost in all the technical talk. Experienced investigators can benefit from this book too. There are good books on the subject out there but if you're looking for one you can refer to time and time again this is the one.

5-0 out of 5 stars "The Art of Ghost Hunting"
"The Art of Ghost Hunting" by Jaeson Jrakman begins with the author arguing the validity of the field as a scientific pursuit. He says: "Anything that exists can be studied and understood. Therefore, it boils down to whether or not you believe that life after death is a real possibility. If you say that it is silly superstitious nonsense than by your own admission you are saying that you do not believe that you will survive your own physical death. If on the other hand you are willing to entertain this possibility, than certainly it may exist, so why not study it? If something as life after death exists, than it must have a physics by which it works. For the scientific community to say that such things cannot exist with absolute certainty they ignore their own axiom, 'you can not prove a negative.'

"The scientific community will also repeatedly state that extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. And they are absolutely correct. And most certainly there has never been the sort of concrete evidence brought forth to the scientific community to this date, which without a doubt proves the existence of life after death. But if science refuses to even investigate, this extraordinary proof will never be found, or brought forward. While orthodox science is extremely adept at analyzing and studying things that are readily known, it is very poor at keeping an open mind. History is replete with proclamations from the orthodox scientific establishment, and those like-minded, decreeing that a thing cannot be done, only later to watch that very thing being accomplished before the entire world."

The author then spends the next fifty pages talking about, not ghosts, but the brain and how it works: "Understanding the human brain and how it functions may help us to comprehend two things. First, it will teach us how the synaptic functions of the brain may help a witness to perceive, or cause to mentally fabricate the vision of a ghost. Second, how the software contained within the brain identified as self may one day become a ghost. But understand it as one might try; the brain remains a scientific enigma. Homo Sapiens have walked upon the Earth for at least 3,500,000 years, yet the bulk of mankind's knowledge of the brain has been attained only in the last 20 years. In fact, humans have known the location of the brain in the body for only the last 500 years. Thus we are logically forced to conclude that the sum total of the knowledge we have acquired today regarding the human brain is most probably less than 1% of what there is to know. When one particular experiment proves the brain works a certain way, another experiment comes along to make the previous experiment meaningless. Therefore it may be no surprise that a human may either have an illness or condition that causes a person to see delusions of ghosts, or may very well have an ability to see a working aspect of the universe which is normally closed off to those without the appropriate brain functions."

By the time he finally gets to talking about ghosts, it's established that this is someone with a brain. I know Jaeson and have been on a few investigations with him. I'm always impressed by his knowledge and he's very professional. One time on an investigation he drove over eighty miles just to sit in a bar and pretend to be in real estate so he could ask some locals a couple questions.

The first book I ever read about ghost hunting was "How To Be A Ghost Hunter" by Richard Southall. If you've never seen a season of Ghost Hunters and know NOTHING about ghost hunting, that book will teach you the basics, but I wanted more. This was the second book about ghost hunting that I read, and I think it may be a little too dense for some beginners but the addition of a physics glossary at the back of the book helps. I also read "The Ghost Hunter's Bible" by Troy Taylor, and I found that was a little easier, but it didn't go into the science as much. If you're having difficulty (and most people with a college education won't), I recommend starting with "The Ghost Hunter's Bible" and then reading "The Art of Ghost Hunting".

This isn't just another book to teach you how to conduct your own ghost hunt, though it does that very well. It teaches you how to be a ghost hunter. What I mean by that is, it takes more than just watching every episode of Ghost Hunters and knowing what a residual haunting is. You have to do your OWN research. You can start by learninghow the brain works and some of the theories out there of what consciousness is. This book can start you on the path to learning some of that.

The problem with many ghost hunters is that they base all their knowledge off of things they've heard on TV and heard everyone else say, but they don't do their own research, like how you hear everywhere how apparitions have to draw energy from the environment to manifest. If you actually do some research for yourself, many people believe consciousness might BE some kind of energy. A ghost wouldn't need to draw energy from batteries, appliances, etc. because it IS energy. Battery drainage might just be a reaction to its energy. (They often go dead on investigations, but then as soon as you leave the site they're mysteriously recharged again.) Temperature change might be something like the Peltier Effect. Standard EMF meters are only designed to detect the kind of EMFs that technology produces - they may not even work for detecting a ghost! (There could also be a reaction between the ghost's energy and the EMF of the environment.) The point is, just because everyone says it doesn't make it true!

The book is 291 pages without the appendices and is written in a text book style. It also covers the history of ghost hunting and parapsychology, the different types of hauntings, various natural and metaphysical phenomena, what kind of equipment to buy, how to get a group started, and it takes you through the steps of conducting an investigation. There are samples of legal forms that you can photocopy and use, environmental logs, samples of letters to send out to people to request an investigation, and samples of EVP questions you can ask. It also gives you an example for how to map out a house, and there's a section for false positives.

The part that I thought was the most useful was his advice for how to start your own group. This is the second edition of this book, I had the first edition when I was getting my first group started, and this would have helped me then. The first thing to do before you strike at it alone is to contact an existing group in your area and ask if you can shadow them on a couple investigations just to learn the ropes. Jaeson actually took 10 months of classes before he ever went on an investigation. When you think you're ready, try to find a few other people to join your group. This is easier said than done. You have to be careful and you shouldn't just take anybody and everybody who's interested. You could end up with someone who has completely different methods or beliefs than your own, someone who has a clashing personality, someone who seems really nice in person but as soon as you take them out on an investigation they can't keep quiet, someone who'll get bored with it after a couple investigations when they realize it isn't non-stop action, someone who just wants to get on TV, or someone with an unhinged personality. Give them an application first, talk to them, then meet them. Maybe give them a trial period before you tell them they're in the group. Also, have a group of no more than four or five. The more people you have, the greater the risk of conflicting methods or personalities. It also takes longer to decide things and to set up dates for investigations that everybody can make. You can also only have so many people at an investigation site at one time, and if there are too many people in your group then you're going to have to rotate who gets to go.

The next thing to do is to get a website up and start getting your name out. Meet up with other ghost hunting groups and get networked. They might invite you along on some of their investigations, and you can see their different methods. Don't expect the cases to come jumping out of the woodwork, it takes time. Put out some fliers. You can send letters to people asking to do an investigation when you're starting out, but later wait for them to come to you. When you've been doing this for at least a year, you can contact a local paper about doing an article so you can get more cases. But getting in the paper or on TV shouldn't be your ultimate goal.

Product Description
Fifty-years after the war, a film crew discover a vent, high on the granite walls of Canada’s Baffin Island. The tube leads down into the ruins of the legendary Point 103 complex, Nazi Germany’s most notorious sub-bunker. As they explore this lost world, the crew uncover a secret. World War II had a muse. One that survived the war.

Blood Toys is fiction, but solidly based on a non-fictional reality that makes most historians squeamish. At the heart of Nazi Germany’s technical ascendancy were interdimensional forces, whispering into the soul of the Nazi occult. Forces that still call for planetary influence. Voices with solutions and illusions and gifts of technology, but voices that have yet to tell us what they expect, in return.

Thanks to the Freedom of Information Act, the ultra-secret NSA acknowledges having 239 documents on UFOs.Documents that share one characteristic-in-common. Heavy redaction. Names, testimonies … anything the agency deems secret is rendered invisible, imprisoned behind heavy bars of black ink. Why? What do they know about the UFO-phenomena, they refuse to tell?

As NSA’s Claire Whitlock and videographer Steven Kincaid chase the answer, they stumble into something, no one anticipated. Have they broken through, into another dimension, explored by members of the Nazi occult? Or merely entered the darkest dimension of all? Death.

Getting there is easy. Getting back … is something else, entirely.

5-0 out of 5 stars Enjoyed It!
Blood Toys is another great novel from the author of Raising the Dead. Like all Wray adventures, this one starts off quickly as the reader is treated to a "not of this world" technology demonstration. Wray successfully mixes Clive Cussler's flair for accurate historical context, with Michael Crichton's researched study of technology, in a current day techno-thriller. Fans of either author will find the book hard to put down.

Blood Toys combines WWII clandestine operations with current Ufology, and creates a compelling story of intrigue, betrayal including an unexpected narrative trail. The result is a superb read which might force you to rethink what you know about history. Highly recommended!

"The concept of a hollow earth has been with us for a long time. Most so-called serious researchers would like to sweep the theory under the run. 5-0 out of 5 stars The Eternal Mysteries of the Hollow Earth
One of the world's most enduring mysteries, a legend that stretches from ancient times to the present, is that of the Hollow Earth. As one learns from reading Tim R. Swartz's excellent new offering from Global Communications, "Admiral Byrd's Secret Journey Beyond the Poles," the mythology concerning a world inside our own dates back to pre-Biblical times.

So is the Earth hollow, as some believe? Calling on expert testimony from scientists such as physicist Dr. Brooks A. Agnew, Swartz skillfully makes the case that it is more than scientifically possible for our planet to be hollow--it is in fact probable that we share our world with a hidden race who lives beneath our feet and occasionally interacts with us mere surface dwellers for good or evil.

Admiral Richard Byrd's trips to both the North and South Poles in the early part of the 20th century are covered in great detail by Swartz. Byrd claimed to have located large openings at the poles that might serve as doorways into the interior of the planet, as well as strange landscapes of lush green vegetation and animals roaming freely on the surface where we have long been told there is only snow and ice. It is said that a media cover-up was quickly put into place and Byrd ceased to talk about his discoveries publicly.

Swartz provides further clues about the government's knowledge of the Inner Earth, along with some fascinating speculation about why such tight secrecy is maintained. Is the shadow government of the New World Order already in contact with the beings down below? The Nazis, according to Swartz, made an expedition to Antarctica before the outbreak of World War II for just such a purpose, hoping to establish relations with the Aryan supermen said to dwell under the surface there. There have also been reports of flying saucer-type craft being seen in the vicinity displaying a swastika on their outer skin.

Swartz contrasts that dark tale with a sunnier interpretation of the Hollow Earth theory, namely the existence of a hidden paradise in the planet's interior called Agharta or Shamballah. It is said this mythical wonderland is lighted by a small internal sun and that wondrous vegetation and animal life abound there, as well as a race of gentle, technologically advanced people who are very concerned about our possible self-destruction through misuse of nuclear weapons.

"Admiral Byrd's Secret Journey Beyond the Poles" strikes just the right balance between pragmatic scientific inquiry into the tantalizing notion that the Earth is hollow and stories of the fascinating assortment of creatures that are said to reside there. In one chapter, Swartz presents a list of verses from the Bible that seem to speak of the Hollow Earth as the familiarly depicted subsurface hell, which Christ entered in the time between his crucifixion and resurrection to rescue worthy souls unjustly trapped in that subterranean Hades. Historically, this has been called the Harrowing of Hell, but one marvels at the idea that such a place might physically exist.

The book also features a chapter written by Dr. Wendy Lockwood, who discusses some of the more negative interpretations of just who really lives down there. She calls on the work of Richard Shaver, whose articles from the 1940s about the underground-dwelling, evil robots he called the Dero are still well known among Hollow Earth believers. Lockwood preaches that we must come to understand the reality of the Hollow Earth in order to continue our collective evolution and move forward as the kind, benevolent race we are intended to be.

In any case, Swartz has put together another winner in the always interesting stream of new books coming out from Global Communications. Whether you read "Admiral Byrd's Secret Journey Beyond the Poles" as a serious researcher of this type of mystery or for arcane entertainment, Swartz's book will be a welcome addition to your paranormal library. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars East & West
Highly recommended! Unique, well-researched and a great read. It has wonderful illustrations & 3D images to illustrate a unique concept that binds both eastern & western fascination with our inner/outer world. A good coffee-table book for conversations, will look forward to the DVD of the characters in the near future!

5-0 out of 5 stars O'Dell explains an unearthly subject in a down-to-earth way
Anyone who shies away from "alien theories" because they seem flighty or out-of-touch with reality will be gratified to discover this excellent text about the possibility of extra-terrestrial life. Both the origins of alien beliefs (including Indian mystical texts, which include respected yogic systems such as agni yoga) as well as modern, physical encounters with alien forms are explored. Technical evidence is presented without losing the wonder and sense of the mystical. Highly recommended for anyone who is interested in reading more about what might exist beyond Planet Earth.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Must Read!
One of most interesting books I have read in quite awhile, Anatomy of The Human Grey Body takes you through the concept of Greys, abductions, and how we perceive the reality around us.
Rather than simply being a book of one person's opinion, this book uses several examples about Greys and consciousness through history, with all works cited, going into great detail about the Jivatma, as the Grey is called in the East through many religions, including Hinduism.
Anatomy of The Human Grey Body takes an interesting and unique look at the extraterrestrial beings people claim to have seen, that are typically referred to as Greys. As well, the book takes a brief look at some of the anomalies witnessed by people around the world. Whether the greys are actually a separate being, or an extension of our selves in some way, is discussed throughout the book, as well as further discussion into whether we actually create the images in our own minds and then transpose them onto photographs.
While the author is discussing other possible answers to many of the questions that plague many of us today, he is careful not to completely discard some of the possibilities that already exist. This book is simply another's personal speculation and debate on what some of these anomalies might be, based on his views and on the historical beliefs of different people in the eastern hemisphere. The book talks about how western belief tends to focus more on what it might be in terms of extraterrestrials, while eastern belief tends to focus more on what it might be in relation to the self and how these two different views have come about.
Greys could be any number of things; it depends on the individual and their beliefs that determine their view of what Greys really are. Anatomy of The Human Grey Body simply gives another view of what Greys could really be.
The book is short and concise, yet it does not short change the reader on any topic, delving into detail on easy topics like the existence of extraterrestrials and hard ones, like multidimensional planes.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in knowing more about the world around them and have always wanted to pick up that curtain of reality that separates us from what we perceive and what truly exists.
A great read!

5-0 out of 5 stars An Anotomical Review of The Grey
O'Dell's metaphysics is a good explanation for paranormal events such as alien abductions and UFO phenomena. What a refreshing UFO publication that never mentions government conspiracies which is just an absurd notion of military intelligence! Original work from a maverick philosopher! Hope to see more from this author.
