The department offers bachelor's degrees in zoology, biology, and wildlife and fisheries biology and management. Students will be assisted by advisers in planning a program to meet their individual goals. Zoology and Physiology Major The following courses or their equivalents from outside the department must be completed: Calculus I and either an additional semester of calculus or one semester of statistics; four semesters of chemistry, including two semesters of general chemistry; two semesters of general physics. To complete a major in zoology, at least 30 hours in zoology and approved biological sciences courses are required. The student also is required to take two laboratory courses, or two courses with laboratories in zoology or biology in addition to the two general biology courses.
