Approved Aging Courses The list below indicates the courses that are acceptable for the gerontology certificate programs. Courses at the 5000-level or higher can be accepted for graduate and professional students; courses from levels 2000 to 5000 can be accepted for the undergraduate minor. Check the appropriate student guides for details about the requirements for each program. In addition to the particular courses listed here, some seminars, special topics classes, internships, research/independent study work, and/or volunteer work may be credited toward the gerontology program with permission.
