I understand that you have hepatitis C and you are not an ideal candidate for interferon based therapies because of your juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. The first question, I have for you is: do you know what your liver biopsy shows. If you have a benign liver biopsy with little scarring or fibrosis, you might not want to do anything right now. Hepatitis C typically causes liver disease over decades and doesn’t even cause cirrhosis in half of infected individuals.
