People throughout the world collect cartoon art for its beauty, its humor, its history, and for the memories and emotions it evokes.
Cartoon art comes in many different forms, and there are many differences between the look and the value of various pieces.
Some collectors of cartoon art prefer original production cels and drawings. These one-of-a-kind pieces are the building blocks of traditional animation, and can be extremely rare and valuable, depending on a variety of factors including age, origin, artist, and condition.
Limited editions are another important type of cartoon art. Different types of limited editions include hand-painted cels, serigraph cels, lithographs, and giclees. Owning limited edition cartoon art is a great way to revisit the classic cartoons and remember the characters that made us love animation in the first place!
Animation Connection specializes in cartoon art, and offers a wide selection from many different studios.

Animal Trivia.
Did You Know... Sharks apparently are the only animals that never get sick. As far as is known, they are immune to every known disease including cancer.
Snails produce a colorless, sticky discharge that forms a protective carpet under them as they travel along. The discharge is so effective that they can crawl along the edge of a razor without cutting themselves.
Snakes are immune to their own poison.

Not only do cartoon artists present readers with a literal interpretation of the story, they also reveal its imaginative component by using allusion, symbolism and exaggeration to examine the meaning behind the words. The agile intelligence, creativity, and humour evident in their art challenges the reader to experience the story at many levels. Last Updated: 2001-02-19 Important Notices
