Why Vote Libertarian
Quite simply, voting Libertarian is the only way to use your vote to demand real change in the direction that most Americans want: a smaller government, one that spends less, takes less of your earnings, and stops meddling in your business and personal life. The Democrats and Republicans have proven over and over again that they won't do this. They are the ones who got us into the current mess! The Democrats and Republicans are both parties of big government. While they make a big show of fighting over "cuts", government spending just keeps going up. The multi-trillion dollar federal debt is a bipartisan debt. The federal government grows whichever party is in charge. The "Republican revolution" was a sham. Many voters had high hopes when the Republicans got control of Congress in 1994. Yet not only have they failed to make deep cuts in spending they haven't even been up to the challenge of undoing recent damage and taking simple steps to reduce the power of government over our lives. The Republicans have

13. Henry Hyde For Congress (IL-6)
Republican Party incumbent candidate for US Representative from the 6th congressional District of Illinois.
http://www.henryhyde.org/
Dear Friend, Having a secure America is everyone's top priority. We have to know that our children are safe in schools, workers are safe at their jobs, consumers are safe in shopping centers around America, water supplies are safe to drink, the air is clean to breathe, and nuclear facilities are safe from terrorists. September 11th was a shock felt around the world. Suicidal fanatics who use religion as an excuse for murder were responsible for the attack on the Pentagon and the World Trade Center. Citizens from 83 countries were killed in the WTC. If not for the bravery of people who deliverately caused the crash of the third plane, the White House or Capitol might have been struck as well. The attack was well organized after being carefully planned by radical groups from several nations, over a period of years. While these acts were carried out without sophisticated weapons, we know these terrorists are trying to gain access to nuclear weapons. We have to be prepared to counteract any kind of attack that they might launch against us. Our response to the militant Taliban terrorists has been swift and relentless. We have captured many of the Taliban and have chased others out of Afghanistan. With the help of government leaders, we will continue to search for terrorist cells wherever they are hiding, in Central and Southern Asia, the Middle East or in Europe and in our own United States. Billions of dollars in assets that have been used to support terrorists around the world have been frozen.
