Alaska Public Library Statistics FY1996 - FY2001
Introduction Tables Tables by Fiscal Year Count On Your Public Library! Introduction On the following tables, the Alaska State Library presents a summary of the public library statistics collected from FY1996 through FY2001. For each year, tables are presented in two formats: first, in alphabetical order by the name of the town in which the library is located, and, second, sorted by population served by the library. The tables include statistics reported by the libraries that received the public library assistance grant for each fiscal year. While the list of Alaska public libraries is generally stable, a few libraries are added and deleted each fiscal year based on their receipt or non-receipt of the grant. All the information reported in the annual reports has been entered into a spreadsheet. Specialized tables can be generated upon request. Please contact the State Library if you need special statistical information.
