    Susan Aglukark. Stephen Roberts Throughout the years Canadian music has grown to international standards, producing such talented artists as Celine Dion, Shania Twain and Bryan Adams. However, a long over looked part of Canadian music the Inuit Movement is just starting to come into the light and show how really rich and wonderful it is. This movement would not exist if not for such Inuit artists such as Susan Aglukark.
    Born in Churchill, Manitoba, Susan had moved with her family to a small town of 1,300 called Arvait on the Hudson Bay in the North West Territories. Susan’s father was a Pentecostal minister and he encouraged Susan to pursue her music career, a talent that she had exposed to the town. Susan very first live performance was at a live concert for a Native Pride festival in her hometown. Upon the release of her first album "Dreams for. You" ,the record received immense success in Canada mostly among the First Nations people. The music video " Searching"
