Outcomes Assessment Resources on the Web
The following links relate specifically to assessment in higher education although some also relate to educational evaluation in general. They are loosely organized into eight categories.
  • University Assessment Pages
  • General Resources
  • Agencies, Institutes and Organizations
  • Assessment Instruments and Techniques
  • Assessment Papers and Reports
  • Commercial Resources on Assessment
  • Benchmarking
  • Software
  • For anyone looking for a place to start, I recommend beginning with the University of Illinois Outcomes Assessment Page and then visit the sites listed under General Resources. Many of the pages, especially the University pages, include links to addition al resources. This list was compiled from the internet by searching Excite, Yahoo! and Hotbot for the keywords: assessment, student outcomes, institutional effectiveness. Additional links were found by searching various university sites on the above keywords. All Big 12 University web sites were searched. If any are not represented below, it is because I have not found resources for them on the web. It does not mean they are not doing assessment. Most of the links in the categories Agencies, Institutes and Organizations
