Service providers assist schools in Region VII
Six service providers serve educators and students in Region VII Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri. These service providers offer information and technical assistance, often free of charge, on issues ranging from equity to technology to special education.
Desegregation Assistance Centers
Desegregation Assistance Centers provide technical assistance, information and staff development to school districts dealing with a variety of educational equity issues, especially race, gender and national origin issues. DACs help districts develop and implement plans to end physical segregation of students between and within schools; develop and implement comprehensive plans to assure equal educational opportunity for students of color and students with limited English proficiency; and to identify and correct practices that discriminate between boys and girls of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds. DAC services include identification of resources, conducting needs assessment, short- and long-term training, data analysis for program implementation, policy review and modification, evaluation of programs and processes and long-term planning. Long Range Planning Survey

ISFAA is an association of college and university financial aid administrators, lenders, guarantors, and other associated organizations and individuals. The intent of the ISFAA website is to serve the members of the association. For students, parents, or counselors seeking financial aid information, please refer to the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administers (NASFAA) website. The Association serves as the state forum and acts as the focus for the expression of views on matters relating to the development, funding, and administration of student financial aid at the state, regional, and national levels.

The Indiana Foster Care Adoptive Association can help you! The Indiana Foster Care Adoption Association (IFCAA) is the association for foster and adoptive parents throughout the state of Indiana. IFCAA is a nonprofit organization of foster parents, adoptive parents, as well as public and private agencies, and other caring professionals who live and work with children. Beginning January 15, 2003, IFCAA also coordinates the Indiana Adoption Program for children who are wards of the Family Social Services Administration, Department of Family and Children. The Indiana Adoption Program helps find adoptive parents for those children waiting for adoption. Children featured on this site are available for adoption through the Indiana Adoption Program.     Project Associate
    Angela McGuire joined WestEd's Center for Prevention and Early Intervention in 1998. She is Institue Coordinator for the Early Start Institutes coordinated by the California Early Intervention Technical Assistance Network (CEITAN) as well as the annual statewide Family Resource Center and Network Conference.
    McGuire is a parent/professional and educator with experience in training and technical assistance, advocacy, adult education, and one-to-one parent support. She is also a specialized consultant for the SEEDS (Supporting Early Education Delivery Systems) Project of the Sacramento County Office of Education, assisting the California Department of Education (CDE) in monitoring and technical assistance provision to local education agencies. Previously, she was a project associate for the Infant Mental Health Development Project under CEITAN. She has also completed writing and illustration assignments with CDE and taught art at various grade levels in Indiana.
    McGuire has a BFA in art education and secondary education from Kent State University.

    What are the Regional Resource Centers?
    The six Regional Resource Centers (RRCs) are specifically funded to assist state education agencies in the systemic improvement of education programs, practices, and policies that affect children and youth with disabilities. The RRCs help states and U.S. jurisdictions find integrated solutions for systemic reform, offering consultation, information services, technical assistance, training, and product development. The beneficiaries of the RRCs' work are children and youth with disabilities, and the families and professionals associated with them.
