should be a broad topic that effectively allows areas of the curriculum appropriateto your grade level of choice to be tied into library skills activities.
http://ltdi.soe.ecu.edu/mellon/6140/programplan.html
PROGRAM PLAN PROJECT The purpose of this project is three-fold: to provide experience in planning a library program around a curriculum-related theme; to develop a session using a modification of the ASSURE model; and to provide an opportunity to exercise creativity. The project is intended to illustrate collaborative planning between teachers and the school librarian; therefore, the components focus on activities that teachers and librarians can do together. PROJECT REQUIREMENTS For this project, you will prepare a planning document for a curriculum-related collaborative unit with a specific focus or theme. In addition, you will use the modified assure model to develop one session to be taught collaboratively by the school librarian and a classroom teacher. It is best to select an area of the curriculum at the grade level appropriate to your position or career goal. The session will teach library skills by integrating them into curriculum content. Both library skills and curriculum content should be chosen from the skills and curriculum required by the NC Department of Public Instruction. For information on the library skills mandated by the state of North Carolina, click on the link from the course web page to the NC Information Skills. For information on the NC curriculum, K-12, click on the link from the course web page to the NC Curriculum. Your final project must include the following components:

Since short term memory is important to most other mental functions including speech and language, we think it is essential to find out more about this aspect of development. Speaking Skills - Asking Questions Many post beginner to lower intermediate students are quite capable of expressing their ideas reasonably well. However, they often run into problems when asking questions. This is due to a number of causes: i.e., teachers are the ones that usually ask questions, the inversion of the auxiliary verb and subject can be especially tricky for many students. This simple lesson focuses specifically on the question form and helping students gain skill while switching tenses in the question form. Aim: Improving speaking confidence when using question forms Activity: Intensive auxiliary review followed by student gap question exercises.
