Wait until you see blue boxes on the screen and then you can enter information. Please use the TAB key to move through the worksheets or the mathematics will not work. Once the worksheet information has been entered, the information will automatically be moved to the Planning and Evaluation Sheet. Hopefully this will save time and errors in transfer. The revised standards (1996) represent the benchmark against which all school library media services in Massachusetts should be measured. When used by administrators and school library media specialists, this publication should help provide the means to bring quality school library media services to all students in Massachusetts thereby positively impacting their academic achievement and enabling students to participate in the "age of information." School Library Standards for Texas
The School Library Standards for Texas (adopted on May 19, 1997 by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission) contain recommendations about what a library should look like, how it should be staffed, and the kind of resources it should offer.

THE MISSOURI SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM POSTPONES 2001 HONOR MEDAL AWARDS BANQUET
COLUMBIA, Mo. In light of last week’s terrorist attacks, the Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia has decided to postpone the awarding of its Honor Medals for Distinguished Service in Journalism. The school had planned to present the awards to five journalists and three journalism organizations at a banquet on Friday, September 21. Dean Mills, dean of the School of Journalism, said the decision to postpone the awards banquet was made after consulting with each of the awardees. The curtailing of airline schedules would have made it difficult for many of the medallists and their families and friends to travel to Columbia for the event. Additional job duties connected with media coverage of last week’s attacks also were a factor. New arrangements will be made to award the medals at a later date. The 2001 medallists are:
