The Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Providers of New York State is committed to working with one voice in the support of organizations, groups and individuals that prevent and alleviate the profound personal, social and economic consequences of alcoholism and substance abuse in New York State. ASAP is a not-for-profit membership association which seeks to improve the quality of life in New York State by advocating for and promoting the highest quality treatment, prevention, research and training. Our membership includes coalitions, programs and agencies throughout New York State which provide alcoholism and substance abuse prevention, treatment, research and evaluation and concerned individuals and corporations who wish to support our mission. ASAP is a vehicle for coordination, shared vision and collaboration. About the New York State Staff Development Consortium

Mission
The New York City Professional Development Consortium (NYCPDC) supports, promotes, and stimulates quality professional development in order that literacy, adult, and vocational education and job training instruction to adults is effective so that students learn. The NYCPDC provides well designed, needs-based staff development to literacy provider agencies in New York City to maintain quality educational programs that promote student success and high standards. Providing linkages among literacy provider agencies, programs, and practitioners in New York City, the NYCPDC achieves its mission by:

The Center for Seafarers' Rights is a worldwide resource for legal research, education, advocacy and assistance on seafarers' rights issues.
