Relevant content is the new Web-site design challenge When search engine editors review your Web site, they will closely examine the descriptive material, your content. Will they find "clunkers" (bad copy)? Reviewers can lower your ranking if the copy contains errors, or if it comes off as an ad. Worse yet, if they find little or no relevant content, they could leave you out of their directory altogether!
Copyedit.org links to the right tools to help you copyedit your Web-site copy and other writings. Our Tool Kit offers free links that we use in our own copyediting. We present the Grammar Handbook, the Hypertext Webster Gateway, the Bartleby Library, Curmudgeon's Stylebook and other links. One tool helps you implement search engine strategies. Call on us for help with these tools or for assistance with any Web or traditional copyediting tasks.

Abstract Search engine human editors associated with the Open Directory Project are now taking a long, hard look at Web-site content. Is there any real substance that the average visitor can find at your site? Is the copy relevant? Is it clear? Is it useful? What happens when there are errors in your story? You lose all credibility, that's what! And your site could disappear from the listings. See

Goals and Functions As defined in its constitution, the Academy’s functions are: (1) to investigate and compile the Hebrew lexicon according to its historical strata and layers; (2) to study the structure, history, and offshoots of the Hebrew language; (3) to direct the development of Hebrew in light of its nature, requirements, and potential, its daily and academic needs, by setting its lexicon, grammar, characters, orthography, and transliteration. punctuation, grammar and Other Cures for Insomnia. By Sandra Glahn. Try to limityourself to a maximum of two commas per sentence. After that, it gets confusing.
    http://www.creeksidebible.org/aspire/articles/writing/punctuation.htm
Punctuation, Grammar and Other Cures for Insomnia By Sandra Glahn Try to limit yourself to a maximum of two commas per sentence. After that, it gets confusing. Limiting the number of commas keeps you from saying too many things at one time. It also prevents overuse of adjectives. (Editors loathe overuse of adjectives and adverbs.) The period goes inside the quotes, even if it's just one word, yeaeven one letter: Example . . . P at it and mark it with a "b." Yes, it looks awkward, but it is correctthat is, unless you are publishing in England. The most common error a person makes while using the English language is when they use a plural pronoun with a singular antecedent. (In case you didn't notice, this sentence structure is incorrect, as are some which follow. However, what it says is true.) A preposition is a bad thing to end a sentence withunless to make it perfect sounds too pedantic. Churchill illustrated this by saying this was something "up with which I will not put." (Prepositions are words such as at, in, under, over, above, around, through, with, etc.). Try to limit yourself to one prepositional phrase per sentence (over the river, through the woods, to Grandmother's house). Try to never split infinitives. (Keep the infinitive "to" with the verb. Don't put the modifier between the "to" and the verb as it appears here. This should have readtry never
