Pray with the Pope
Is this your first visit to Sacred Space Yes , and I'd like a brief, one-page outline of the site. No , I'm a regular visitor. Something to think and pray about this week: What if nothing happens? There may be days when I spend my ten minutes or so at Sacred Space and nothing happens: Nothing in the preparatory stages really touches me, nothing much has happened in the last day, the scripture doesn’t move me, and I have nothing in particular to bring into conversation with the Lord. This may even happen to me for days on end. It feels flat and empty, and I find myself clicking through it a little bit faster every day, thinking it’s a bit pointless. But it isn’t pointless. Everybody’s prayer goes through stages like this, and it’s important to remember then that spending time in God’s presence has a value of its own, even if I don’t see immediate results. Prayer is about my relationship with God, my close friendship with the Lord. Close friends spend time with each other, and persevere with each other through thick and thin. That’s what any real, developing relationship is like.

PROPHETIC TIME SPANS Bible prophecy is the news in advance. It is the Almighty telling humanity and the angel host what He is about to do or allow Satan to do. Studying Bible prophecy is like taking a look at the Diary of the Most High . When studied in conjunction with the sacred calendar, Bible prophecy is the most reliable evidence the church has that the Almighty is working to a divine timetable ; one that is infinitely more reliable than the diaries and wall charts business managers use. Bible prophecy is also the LORD'S way of warning all mankind of approaching danger. 2 Pet.1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place , until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21: For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Amos 3:7 Surely the LORD GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Sacred Geometry
Everything in the universe follows the same blueprint or patterns of created by geometric designs that repeat over and over in an endless dance of sound, light and color. They are a matrix of grid energy created from a central source - which creates the reality in which we experience. At the physical level of conscious souls attach through electromagnetic energy grids which create the the illusion of space and time and allow us to experience duality, emotions, linear time. As all things are linked back to one creational source - through a web of sorts - myriad of grid energies - all of creational follows the same creational design - the Flower of Life of our Creation - The Tree of Life Sacred geometry is based on specific patterns - platonic solids. (See references below). If you examine the history of humanity you will see come to realize that everything is part of specific patterning. Stories of the creation of humanity all follow the same patterns. We move in cycles - the wheel of karma - the illusion of linear time - all crated by the same patterns of geometry. These patterns were once understood and taught by the ancient mystery school teachings - Initiations - then became lost in 'time' - to be rediscovered as we evolve as a soul group into higher consciousness awareness at this time. Is Nothing Sacred?
International animal-rights activists accuse India of showing uncharacteristic cruelty toward its cows

By MASEEH RAHMAN New Delhi
Mahatma Gandhi believed that a nation could be judged by the way it treats its animals. If that yardstick were applied to his own country today, India would be in the doghouse. Hindus venerate many of God's creatures, and the cow is considered especially sacred. But the international animal-rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has exposed horrendous cruelty to India's cows as they are transported, illegally, to slaughter houses. Many arrive dead or badly injured after long and torturous journeys in trains and trucks or on foot. "It is Dante's Inferno for cows and bullocks," says PETA president Ingrid Newkirk.

I would be the least surprised if I saw Lupili in a brand new car during the FAZcouncil meeting in Kabwe some time in March. He did it to save sacred cows.

Issue Number 143 Friday January 26 - Thursday Febraury 1, 2001 Online from http://afronet.org.za http://www.oneworld.org and mirrored @ Zamnet TIME OUT FAZ and sacred cows By Calvin Kaleyi For some time now, I have known that the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) was going to find or devise a way to save the sloppy once upon a time 'Mighty' Mufulira Wanderers from relegation. I knew from the time it became evident that Mufulira Wanderers were headed for Division One football that the FAZ executive would save them somehow. First, there was talk that the FAZ executive was thinking of increasing the number of teams in the Premier League from 16 to about 18 so that Mufulira Wanderers could be accommodated and be saved from relegation. But when we let the cat out of the bag, FAZ was quick to recoil and accuse us of having speculated and jazzed up the whole thing. But then, they still remained with the puzzle of how they would work it out ... by hook or crook. 'Fortunately' for the FAZ executive fate presented itself and they were only happy to announce that Mufulira Wanderers would remain in the premier league. I heard of the verdict before it was even passed. And FAZ vice president Chewe Lupili, I am told, could not hide the excitement of bouncing Wanderers back into the Premier League after it became evident that Railway Express would not be sponsored anymore by Zambia Railways. I am told Mufulira Wanderers supporters, players and the executive at the clubhouse went out celebrating and knocking down a beer too many after mother luck smiled on them. They could only thank Lupili for having done them the great favour.

to experience it, though, through our changing relationship with time, and the acceleratingrate of our evolution. The phi ratio, a sacred geometric constant
http://www.4dshift.com/back/october99.htm
SPIRALING OUT OF TIME and AWAKENING TO THE TIME SPIRAL This is an excerpt from a wonderful 28 pages article by Barry Martin*
"As you have probably noticed, something fundamentally new and different is unfolding on planet Earth. The level and extent of the changes are beyond anything we have ever experienced, and the pace keeps accelerating.... A few years ago, as I was considering the acceleration in my personal evolutionary process and wondering where it was going, an inner voice said, "Look at the phi ratio as the means for this unfoldment." In the next moment, I heard the phrase, " Harmonic Convergence and the Time Shift." I knew that the phi ratio is a mathematical constant. I was also familiar with the two events mentioned, widely publicized by Jose Arguelles as important turning-points in the Mayan Calendar. Harmonic Convergence had occurred on August 16, 1987, followed by the Time Shift on July 26, 1992.
Considering this information, it occurred to me that the time interval between these two events was a key to understanding. I calculated the interval and found that it was almost exactly 5 years (4 years, 11 months, 11 days, or 4.945 years). This was interesting: 5 appears near the beginning of the Fibonacci number series, which is the integer (whole number) expression of a phi ratio progression.
Using the phi ratio, 1.61803/1, I began to calculate backward and forward in time from the nearly five-year baseline interval between Harmonic Convergence and the Time Shift. As I did so, a fascinating picture unfolded. Looking back, a spiraling curve demarcated a series of dates that coincided with many major evolutionary events in humanity's recent history. And going forward, the curve steeply ascended as cycles shortened to a matter of hours, minutes, and then seconds!

It's time to rescue our sacred river
Editorial
February 26, 2001
ABORIGINES have more than 10,000 sacred sites in the Murray-Darling Basin, each reflecting a particular connection to this arid land and the water on which it depends. The river's place at the centre of their spiritual life is an acknowledgment of the beauty, scarcity and complexity of the nation's most valuable resource. As white settlers moved in, though, they began to eke out their own territories, often with misguided expectations and usually taking the rivers for granted. They fought farmer against farmer, town against town, state against state to use the Murray-Darling as they saw fit. All this time the new people of the bush grew to love, as Aborigines do, their part of the river and to establish a personal - and economic - connection with it. Their stories, relayed as The Australian has journeyed down the Murray over the past three weeks, survive as a testimony to the river's place in the hearts of many. Les Beard has a redgum at Mungabareena. Joanne Brown has the EH Holden at Cobdogla. Tom Kotow arrived in South Australia in 1949 and swam across a river that looked "a mile wide near his tin shed on a fruit block at Loxton North. But this personal connection is not enough on its own to save the Murray.

The Sacred Warrior
The liberator of South Africa looks at the seminal work of the liberator of India

BY NELSON MANDELA appeared in the Time Magazine as a part of "The Person of the Century" series - January 1, 2000 India is Gandhi's country of birth; South Africa his country of adoption. He was both an Indian and a South African citizen. Both countries contributed to his intellectual and moral genius, and he shaped the liberatory movements in both colonial theaters. He is the archetypal anticolonial revolutionary. His strategy of noncooperation, his assertion that we can be dominated only if we cooperate with our dominators, and his nonviolent resistance inspired anticolonial and antiracist movements internationally in our century. Both Gandhi and I suffered colonial oppression, and both of us mobilized our respective peoples against governments that violated our freedoms. The Gandhian influence dominated freedom struggles on the African continent right up to the 1960s because of the power it generated and the unity it forged among the apparently powerless. Nonviolence was the official stance of all major African coalitions, and the South African A.N.C. remained implacably opposed to violence for most of its existence. Gandhi remained committed to nonviolence; I followed the Gandhian strategy for as long as I could, but then there came a point in our struggle when the brute force of the oppressor could no longer be countered through passive resistance alone. We founded Unkhonto we Sizwe and added a military dimension to our struggle. Even then, we chose sabotage because it did not involve the loss of life, and it offered the best hope for future race relations. Militant action became part of the African agenda officially supported by the Organization of African Unity (O.A.U.) following my address to the Pan-African Freedom Movement of East and Central Africa (PAFMECA) in 1962, in which I stated, "Force is the only language the imperialists can hear, and no country became free without some sort of violence."
