It is best used at the point of writing dialogue and stage/acting directions in the playwriting process. This is also a good way to introduce the students to each other at the beginning of a semester, or as part of the community building process, or as a way to further tighten the community sense throughout the semester and to encourage cooperative behavior."

A study of Hispanic culture in your Spanish 102 class reveals that Spanish is the local language of the island paradise of Costa Rica. Recalling your recent obsession with the first 'Survivor' edition, you contrive that you could conceivably perfect your Spanish on the beach. In order to convince your parents (and your Spanish teacher!) that Costa Rica is right for you, you know that you are going to have to do some research.
On StudyAbroad.com, research Spanish Language courses in Costa Rica and Costa Rican culture.
Be sure to address the following: Where can I study Spanish in Costa Rica?
How long are Spanish Language courses in Costa Rica? What program length is of interest to me? Do any programs offer optional excursions for travel? Research local information: Capital, currency, government, weather, major cultural sights, and national holidays. What are some things that I would like to see/experience while in Costa Rica?

Accenter
Whether you are typing French accents, Spanish accents, or math symbols, most word processors don't provide the flexibility you need. Adding special characters, commonly used wingdings, or greek letters to your word processing documents can be a nuisance as well. But Accenter works equally well as a Spanish word processor, a French word processor, or a math word processor, because of its configurable setup for inserting special characters.
Download Accenter Now!

Version:
System:
Any 32 bit Windows platform
Subject: Foreign language/math
Grades: Any
Description: Word processor with special features for foreign language and math.
This word processor is perfect for teachers of mathematics and foreign languages. It's great for anyone who regularly uses obscure symbols in their documents. No longer do you have to use bizarre 'alt key codes' to get the symbols you use most. In fact, Accenter lets you choose the key combinations that are most comfortable for you. What if the key combinations you want to use are not the same as the combinations others want to use? No problem! The customized settings are tied to your Windows user name, so each user can have different settings.
How does Accenter work? The user sets up 'symbol groups' (or uses the predefined groups). Each symbol group has its own hotkey combination. For example, the greek alphabet might be activated by pressing [ALT-G]. Within this group, there can be up to 20 symbols, and the keys associated with them. For example, the letter 'a' is associated with the Greek letter 'alpha'. Thus 'alpha' is inserted by pressing [ALT-G], then pressing 'a'.
