Physical therapy is an experience many of us will go through in the course of our lifetime. Many of us hear stories of all the pain and torture that is suffered upon each visit. The mention of physical therapy may bring a grimace to the faces of a few. But, there is a secret. Physical therapy does not have to hurt.
This is accomplished through skillful hands on therapy and precise education of you, the patient.
Whether it is an acute injury, accident, or a long-term chronic problem, therapy can have enormous benefits. The truth is, physical therapy without the presence of pain can be very beneficial.
Coast Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine specializes in proactive, functional physical therapy. This means our primary goal is to educate you on what you can do for yourself to speed up your recovery process. Our job is to assist you back to your highest level of function, not keep you attending visit after visit without results.
