Along with cultural information, they can provide verbal and written interaction and, in many cases, plant material or sources of material for their members. There may be local chapters near your community that are not listed in this guide. Check with each national organization you are interested in for information on a chapter in your area. Many of these organizations publish newsletters or magazines and have annual meetings.
